Summary

The 2011 Medical Molecular Hydrogen Symposium was the first major conference dedicated to hydrogen medicine research. Leading scientists gathered to share findings about hydrogen therapy's therapeutic potential. Researchers presented evidence demonstrating that molecular hydrogen shows beneficial effects for treating 38 different diseases and health conditions. The symposium served as a landmark event, establishing hydrogen as a legitimate therapeutic agent and creating a platform for future research collaboration. This comprehensive review of hydrogen's medical applications represents a turning point in the field, providing scientific validation for hydrogen therapy's diverse therapeutic potential across multiple health conditions and disease states.

Abstract

This report summarizes a brief description/history of the Hydrogen Research Meetings as well as key presentations/oral abstracts delivered in the most recent symposium. Additionally, we introduced 38 diseases and physiological states for which hydrogen exhibits beneficial effects.
