Abstract
There are currently no specific treatments to promote wound healing owing to its complicated pathogenesis. Recent studies have shown that molecular hydrogen possesses antioxidative and cytoprotective effects. It also suppresses inflammation by inhibiting proinflammatory factors, including TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, and IL-10. In light of the promising results in several preliminary studies, hydrogen therapy might be a future treatment for wound healing.
